The referee showed Mero Minguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Linterna verde booed when Loco Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mero Minguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes, Paulo-Eduardo Dybala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linterna verde and the Loco Team FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo-Eduardo Dybala kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Linterna verde:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Loco Team FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Demetrio Cerillo, was totally fooled by Loco Team FC's Berenguer Cuñat, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Demario Velasco took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Demetrio Cerillo to make any attempt to save it. In the 43rd match minute, Loco Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Errapel Ucles to maneuver through the defense. After 44 minutes, Demario Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loco Team FC and the Linterna verde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Demario Velasco hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Demario Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demario Velasco to make the kick off. Paulo-Eduardo Dybala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes of play, Loco Team FC's Demario Velasco made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demetrio Cerillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilberto Angelucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo-Eduardo Dybala, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Linterna verde's Demetrio Cerillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weather Albalate in the 68th minute of play. Neto Alcaraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Linterna verde's Demetrio Cerillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weather Albalate in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Loco Team FC's zone, Medardo Argudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Angelucci came out of the goal and Medardo Argudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 played minutes Loco Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Weather Albalate. Medardo Argudo had several of the Loco Team FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Gilberto Angelucci as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ibar Baroja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Demetrio Cerillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neto Alcaraz during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Loco Team FC booed when Linterna verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neto Alcaraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loco Team FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
