The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamine Valente in the 17th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Gameiro Lenoble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bilal Jullien kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Davy Poirrier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omer Grosse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gameiro Lenoble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Gaud in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Brendan Menguy notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Saint Côme de Fresné's Gameiro Lenoble. Gameiro Lenoble was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saint Côme de Fresné's Gameiro Lenoble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamine Valente in the 32nd minute of play. When Dan Carrette fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Côme de Fresné's protests and gave Dan Carrette a yellow card for diving instead. Dan Carrette kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Brendan Menguy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elegance Dijon's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendan Menguy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gameiro Lenoble breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gameiro Lenoble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Gaud in the 39th minute of the match. Gameiro Lenoble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathieu Gaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of Elegance Dijon booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurélien Borel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Gameiro Lenoble successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gameiro Lenoble was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mathieu Gaud showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

63 minutes into the game, Yannick Bach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saint Côme de Fresné's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elegance Dijon the free kick. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Yannick Bach hit a great ball. After 69 minutes of play, Elegance Dijon's Brendan Menguy made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gameiro Lenoble was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gameiro Lenoble didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brendan Menguy went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Gameiro Lenoble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Gaud in the 82nd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Jordan Lachenal put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Elegance Dijon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! After 93 minutes, Aurélien Borel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Côme de Fresné and the Elegance Dijon players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Elegance Dijon booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurélien Borel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendan Menguy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gameiro Lenoble. Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gameiro Lenoble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Gaud in the 96th minute of play. Steve Carrier kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 100th minute, Mathieu Gaud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elegance Dijon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Elegance Dijon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
