The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goalkeeper Patrice Marsonet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ívan James. Gabin Françoise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Bordat in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Lemahieu in the 9th minute of play forced Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Gabin Françoise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SILMONT's Patrice Marsonet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierrick Moulard in the 13th minute of play. Rodrigo Mora hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Gabin Françoise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Lemahieu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SILMONT's Patrice Marsonet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save SILMONT from getting a goal against them. Marcel Lemahieu took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabin Françoise. Gabin Françoise dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 33rd minute, John-David Pirat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierrick Moulard hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Merlin Beaudoux charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Merlin Beaudoux the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Bordat in the 39th minute of play forced Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Gabin Françoise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes Alexandrie CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcel Lemahieu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SILMONT's Marcel Lemahieu to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabin Françoise despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, SILMONT's Jean-Marie Goupy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabin Françoise made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. SILMONT's attentive Maxence Duthoit managed to snatch the ball when Merlin Beaudoux made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. Javier Bordat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabin Françoise having to make a save. Gabin Françoise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Bordat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Alexandrie CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SILMONT were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ívan James was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Rodrigo Mora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Marsonet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Javier Bordat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gabin Françoise. Javier Bordat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Alexandrie CF's Gabin Françoise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Bordat in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Bordat in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabin Françoise prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Jean-Charles Bizet in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SILMONT's Set Doig. After a defensive mix-up in Alexandrie CF's zone, Javier Bordat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabin Françoise came out of the goal and Javier Bordat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Javier Bordat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Mendy kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Javier Bordat scored 0-6 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabin Françoise, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
