Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Uğuralp Gülerce started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Esat Mertel came free, but Gaffar Uram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaffar Uram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esat Mertel, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aytunç Kelim got free with Korkutalp Kabil in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Korkutalp Kabil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aytunç Kelim in the 8th minute. When Artun Kaçan came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bornova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artun Kaçan couldn't finish the play. Gaffar Uram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esat Mertel in the 16th minute of play. If Esat Mertel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Esat Mertel came free, but Gaffar Uram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaffar Uram didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esat Mertel went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute of the match, Uğuralp Gülerce tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Korkutalp Kabil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 34 minutes into the match, Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Artun Kaçan came free, but Gaffar Uram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. got a freekick which was hit by Tolga Aşkın. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esat Mertel in the 38th minute of play forced Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s goalkeeper Gaffar Uram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esat Mertel took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaffar Uram. Gaffar Uram dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. booed when Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahrettin Uçhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korkutalp Kabil made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Uğuralp Gülerce sent off a good shot on target. The Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bornova were winning 0-2.

53 minutes in the game, Artun Kaçan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gaffar Uram having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Esat Mertel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Artun Kaçan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaffar Uram. Artun Kaçan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Korkutalp Kabil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uğuralp Gülerce, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Emrah Zeren hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s Gaffar Uram proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, Artun Kaçan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s Gaffar Uram got control of the ball when Esat Mertel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fuat Azimli hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Korkutalp Kabil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aytunç Kelim, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bornova's Esat Mertel suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 85 minutes, İlyas Tolga Yoruk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. and the Bornova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bornova's Bahtiyar Mazhar was substituted for Esat Mertel. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Eyüp Niyazi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Bahtiyar Mazhar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bornova's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahtiyar Mazhar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaffar Uram breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bornova's Bahtiyar Mazhar got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
