Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute, Rudolf Aschenbrenner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthew Jastrzembowski came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by West Staines Massive's Günter Wache. But to his dismay, Günter Wache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Günter Wache scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthew Jastrzembowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Hamburg Fighters defense, Günter Wache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthew Jastrzembowski. The Hamburg Fighters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthew Jastrzembowski should have stopped the shot. Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günter Wache in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, West Staines Massive's Eckart Schindler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 25th minute, West Staines Massive's Jochen Bruns seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jochen Bruns the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of West Staines Massive protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jochen Bruns had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jochen Bruns kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's Sören Rappmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siegmund Nickel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rudolf Aschenbrenner's late challenge caught a West Staines Massive's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudolf Aschenbrenner helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hamburg Fighters's Rudolf Aschenbrenner got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes West Staines Massive got a freekick which was hit by Günter Wache. 32 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Jucknischke came free, but Siegmund Nickel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. West Staines Massive's Siegmund Nickel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jucknischke in the 36th minute of play. Moritz Burkhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Matthew Jastrzembowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Arne Pahlke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Staines Massive's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Pahlke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moritz Burkhardt was the one to do the kick off. Arne Pahlke struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Matthew Jastrzembowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Staines Massive. Eckart Schindler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Eckart Schindler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Hamburg Fighters's Sören Rappmann got a free kick in the 87th minute. Siegmund Nickel came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Hamburg Fighters's Wulf-Dieter Schwarze. But to his dismay, Wulf-Dieter Schwarze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5.
