In the 3rdth minute of the game Augustin Manole who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buffalo Timişoara's Aron Râznicu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Balint came free, but Irinel Vărzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irinel Vărzaru was a little too slow when Victor Pandrea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Horaţiu Vermeşan's late challenge caught a Buffalo Timişoara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horaţiu Vermeşan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Balavanis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horaţiu Vermeşan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Victor Pandrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Buffalo Timişoara's zone, Petruț Mironescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Râznicu came out of the goal and Petruț Mironescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irinel Vărzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Balint, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Avram Nandriș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Vărzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irinel Vărzaru came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Timişoara's Mircea Dumitrana. But to his dismay, Mircea Dumitrana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Mircea Dumitrana notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Balavanis's Irinel Vărzaru. Irinel Vărzaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute, Ivan Balint reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Irinel Vărzaru. The goal made the score 4-0. 43 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Balint came free, but Irinel Vărzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avram Nandriș scored 5-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irinel Vărzaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute of the match, Avram Nandriș got a very nice opportunity to score, but Irinel Vărzaru was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Balint stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Avram Nandriș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irinel Vărzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Balint in the 56th minute of the match. Buffalo Timişoara's Aron Râznicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Buffalo Timişoara from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute Mircea Dumitrana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Vărzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Ivan Balint notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Balavanis's Irinel Vărzaru. Marin Gavrilă received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aron Râznicu came out and tried to block the shot, but Marin Gavrilă slotted it home off the left post making it 7-1 in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Mircea Dumitrana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irinel Vărzaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Balavanis's Horaţiu Vermeşan got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Horaţiu Vermeşan off the ground. Irinel Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Balint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Șerban Gugea charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Șerban Gugea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Buffalo Timişoara's Șerban Gugea got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Pupăzan to maneuver through the defense. Buffalo Timişoara's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
