In the 7th minute, Dan Caranică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Gyepüpataka's Mihnea Şuplăcan got control of the ball when Valentin Frumuzache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Róbert Császár hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Damian Lazăr came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the CSM ALEXANDRIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Lazăr couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Valentin Frumuzache notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gyepüpataka's Mihnea Şuplăcan. Mihnea Şuplăcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute of the match, Valentin Frumuzache got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mihnea Şuplăcan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mihail Iorgu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Valentin Frumuzache made a precise shot to the right of Mihnea Şuplăcan. Gyepüpataka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Jupân in the 31st minute of play forced CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Maxim Firea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Damian Lazăr recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mihnea Şuplăcan. Damian Lazăr showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When Mădălin Surdu fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSM ALEXANDRIA's protests and gave Mădălin Surdu a yellow card for diving instead. Róbert Császár recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihnea Şuplăcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Frumuzache, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of CSM ALEXANDRIA booed when Gyepüpataka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Bodiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mădălin Surdu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Robert Jupân fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Firea having to interfere. Mihnea Şuplăcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Frumuzache in the 76th minute of the match. After 83 minutes of play CSM ALEXANDRIA's Mădălin Surdu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 85th minute of the match Ştefan Hodorog sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxim Firea skillfully saved the ball. Mihnea Şuplăcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Lazăr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CSM ALEXANDRIA booed when Gyepüpataka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Hodorog didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Robert Jupân cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Maxim Firea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CSM ALEXANDRIA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
