FC Lutanu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Buciumii the free kick. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Ştefan Gârniceanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 6th minute, FC Buciumii's Sebastian Giubelean ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ştefan Gârniceanu. Ştefan Gârniceanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Pavel Cezar struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ştefan Gârniceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buciumii. In the 9th match minute, FC Lutanu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Zburlea to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Sebastian Giubelean notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Lutanu's Ştefan Gârniceanu. Ştefan Gârniceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Lucian Petriceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lutanu's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucian Petriceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelian Ştiubei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelian Ştiubei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Petriceanu in the 24th minute of play. FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Petriceanu in the 28th minute of play. Ştefan Gârniceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurențiu Dinescu's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Laurențiu Taşcău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Lutanu's Matei Hâncu got a free kick in the 34th minute. Sebastian Giubelean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ştefan Gârniceanu made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Rada came free, but Ştefan Gârniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Giubelean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Gârniceanu having to interfere. Ştefan Gârniceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Giubelean in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, FC Lutanu's Ştefan Gârniceanu got control of the ball when Laurențiu Taşcău tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ştefan Gârniceanu came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Buciumii's Sebastian Giubelean. But to his dismay, Sebastian Giubelean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Ştefan Gârniceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Ştefan Gârniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Taşcău in the 76th minute of the match.
