With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richy Demeulemeester in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joppe Reuters saved FC Dharma Initiative from getting behind. Joppe Reuters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwen Wegers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joppe Reuters came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Beek City's Richy Demeulemeester. But to his dismay, Richy Demeulemeester quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Beek City getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dyllan van Elderen hit a great ball. FC Dharma Initiative's Joppe Reuters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwen Wegers in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Beek City booed when FC Dharma Initiative was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jelle Schol didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Dharma Initiative's Joppe Reuters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richy Demeulemeester in the 34th minute of play. Joppe Reuters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richy Demeulemeester, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Beek City's Laurence Luyten got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richy Demeulemeester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joppe Reuters having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antoine Vinckx to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stephan Neefs during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Beek City got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Neefs. In the 59th minute, Beek City's Julien De Winter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Gwen Wegers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joppe Reuters having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Richy Demeulemeester cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Joppe Reuters was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andre Poortmans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joppe Reuters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Beek City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Poortmans to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Beek City's Richy Demeulemeester got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 86 minutes, Boris Buyck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dharma Initiative and the Beek City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Gwen Wegers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beek City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The supporters of FC Dharma Initiative booed when Beek City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Neefs didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Dharma Initiative's Joppe Reuters got control of the ball when Richy Demeulemeester tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute Gwen Wegers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joppe Reuters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beek City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
