FC Klavertje Vier's Gerrit Van Boeckost proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC Klavertje Vier from getting a goal against them. Ron Everaerts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waut Limpens having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Uijtterhoeven in the 21st minute of play forced FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Gerrit Van Boeckost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Jeoffrey Rijmenants from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Gerrit Van Boeckost's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gerrit Van Boeckost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Uijtterhoeven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Jerry Verengen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Limpens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match, Luka Uijtterhoeven tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gerrit Van Boeckost saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Van Goethem to make the kick off. FC Klavertje Vier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Three Towers United the free kick. Gerrit Van Boeckost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Uijtterhoeven in the 64th minute of the match. If Anton Van Goethem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roderik Huyterhoeven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gerrit Van Boeckost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luka Uijtterhoeven scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerrit Van Boeckost, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waut Limpens was a little too slow when Jerry Verengen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 2-2. Gerrit Van Boeckost dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Three Towers United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
