After 3 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by Remy Rymenans. With a little luck, The Wolfpack™'s Jeffery Vanooteghem got control of the ball when Kenny De Block tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th match minute, The Wolfpack™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remy Rymenans to maneuver through the defense. The Wolfpack™'s Jeffery Vanooteghem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save The Wolfpack™ from getting a goal against them. When Alek Uyttebroeck came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the The Wolfpack™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alek Uyttebroeck couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, Jerom Enfant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remy Rymenans hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alek Uyttebroeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robben Degryse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, The Wolfpack™'s goalkeeper Jeffery Vanooteghem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenny De Block. After 33 minutes, Kristen de Cijser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Wolfpack™ and the FC Gullegem players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kristen de Cijser kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jeffery Vanooteghem stood somewhat misplaced when Jerom Van Impe came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Remy Rymenans managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Wolfpack™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Remy Rymenans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sammy Van De Gehuchte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenny De Block was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny De Block to maneuver through the defense. Sammy Van De Gehuchte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alek Uyttebroeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Ivens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Remy Rymenans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenny De Block received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jeffery Vanooteghem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Ivens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Van De Gehuchte having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Stijn Van Hoovelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the game, Jerom Van Impe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jeffery Vanooteghem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Kenny De Block's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeffery Vanooteghem was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. With a little luck, FC Gullegem's Sammy Van De Gehuchte got control of the ball when Stijn Van Hoovelt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfons Daems struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jeffery Vanooteghem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gullegem. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Gullegem had won after a very even match.
