Futebol Espinhel's Gil Ribas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Futebol Espinhel from getting a goal against them. Xavier Baião kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Gil Ribas made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Micael Casado sent off a good shot on target. Futebol Espinhel's Gil Ribas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Futebol Espinhel from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper Gil Ribas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Peseiro. In the 29th minute, Jardel Jardel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The União Sport Clube Paredes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gil Ribas made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when António Peseiro sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Futebol Espinhel's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Jardel came free, but Gil Ribas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Severino Ramires came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Futebol Espinhel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Ramires couldn't finish the play. Lisandro Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Micael Casado 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After some careless play in the Futebol Espinhel defense, Jardel Jardel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Ribas. The Futebol Espinhel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Ribas should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Ramires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Futebol Espinhel getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Severino Ramires hit a great ball. Micael Casado kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Gil Ribas came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by União Sport Clube Paredes's Micael Casado. But to his dismay, Micael Casado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gil Ribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micael Casado in the 65th minute of the match. Futebol Espinhel's Gil Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Jardel in the 66th minute of play. Micael Casado scored 6-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Ribas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 minutes, Xavier Baião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futebol Espinhel and the União Sport Clube Paredes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Futebol Espinhel got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Baião. António Peseiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Futebol Espinhel's Xavier Baião managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Julião Prates in the 92 minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the União Sport Clube Paredes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
