After 10 played minutes KINDERUZ got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Vilanova. In the 16th minute of the match Alípio Quinaz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abílio Sacramento skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Cassandros Elite Team's Julião Manso got a free kick in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Carvalhais came free, but Abílio Sacramento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassandros Elite Team's Filinto Santarém proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Cassandros Elite Team from getting a goal against them. KINDERUZ were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Cassandros Elite Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filipe Azeredo took the corner. Alexandrino Caldas kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Filinto Santarém made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Filipe Maia sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of KINDERUZ booed when Cassandros Elite Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abílio Sacramento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Carvalhais in the 39th minute of play. Filinto Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Teixeira in the 41st minute of the match. Abílio Sacramento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julião Manso, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Raimundo Vilanova hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

If Alexandrino Caldas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, KINDERUZ's Abílio Sacramento got control of the ball when Adriano Vilaça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cassandros Elite Team's attentive Alípio Quinaz managed to snatch the ball when Raimundo Vilanova made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Filipe Maia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filinto Santarém was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Filinto Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandrino Caldas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Alexandrino Caldas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KINDERUZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 73 minutes into the game, KINDERUZ's Filipe Maia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filinto Santarém made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cassandros Elite Team's Filinto Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandrino Caldas in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Cassandros Elite Team booed when KINDERUZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfírio Madruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filinto Santarém having to interfere. Filinto Santarém didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipe Maia went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Vilaça in the 97th minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Abílio Sacramento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KINDERUZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
