Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mateus Prates started the match with the kick off. Albérico Vilaverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermes Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murilo Benevides hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Gaspar Camacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Zarco Monteiro made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, Vicente Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LeoMel F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Braga the free kick. After 18 played minutes LeoMel F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Peixoto. Zarco Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandrino Bessa in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, LeoMel F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Lustosa to maneuver through the defense. Zarco Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandrino Bessa in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Aparício Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. LeoMel F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aparício Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albérico Vilaverde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albérico Vilaverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Lustosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Alexandrino Bessa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zarco Monteiro, 1-0. In the 39th minute, Hélder Lustosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albérico Vilaverde was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mateus Prates took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zarco Monteiro. Zarco Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavo Luz to make the kick off. After some careless play in the SC Braga defense, Pedro Mourão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albérico Vilaverde. The SC Braga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albérico Vilaverde should have stopped the shot. Luís Antas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zarco Monteiro having to make a save. With a little luck, SC Braga's Albérico Vilaverde got control of the ball when Hélder Lustosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aparício Palmeira in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albérico Vilaverde saved SC Braga from getting behind. Luís Antas succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Hélder Lustosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. LeoMel F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Lustosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albérico Vilaverde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélder Lustosa kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, LeoMel F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Prates came free, but Zarco Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aparício Palmeira shot from long distance after 70 played minutes, a shot that Albérico Vilaverde with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. The supporters of LeoMel F.C. booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. LeoMel F.C.'s Zarco Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Antas in the 78th minute of play. Hélder Lustosa charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélder Lustosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hélder Lustosa hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Marco Saldanha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zarco Monteiro. LeoMel F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. LeoMel F.C.'s Vicente Peixoto got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Vicente Peixoto off the ground. The supporters of SC Braga booed when LeoMel F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Marco Saldanha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zarco Monteiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Mateus Prates cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Zarco Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Mourão charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Mourão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Mateus Prates made a precise shot to the right of Zarco Monteiro. LeoMel F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 96thth minute of the game Mateus Prates who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LeoMel F.C.'s Zarco Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Braga's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
