They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Santa Cruz made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, AC Batán's goalkeeper Carolo Lluis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Guzman. Loco Burgos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Jurgi's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When Roque Santa Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Carolo Lluis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carolo Lluis came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chelco FC's Santos Guzman. But to his dismay, Santos Guzman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Carolo Lluis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Berriotxoa in the 88th minute of play forced AC Batán's goalkeeper Carolo Lluis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chelco FC's Melchor Tanio got a free kick in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chelco FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
