Everardo Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Mundo in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Opilano in the 14th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Gonzalo Tebaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Los Hornos's Paulo Opilano in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. Racing Club's Silvestre Mundo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Los Hornos's Paulo Opilano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonzalo Tebaldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, Gualterio Nazario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Hornos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. The goalkeeper, Everardo Francho, was totally fooled by Racing Club's Domingos Gonsalve, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Opilano in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Tebaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Paulo Opilano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Tebaldo was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 41st match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Raymond to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Paulo Opilano made a precise shot to the right of Gonzalo Tebaldo. Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gonzalo Tebaldo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hornos's Paulo Opilano. But to his dismay, Paulo Opilano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.

Racing Club's Damian Valente was substituted for Valentin Ibon. Los Hornos's Marciano Tanio was substituted for Leopoldo Gaitano. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingos Gonsalve to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Eustacio Naike hit a great ball. Hilario Dei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Dei hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Tebaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Opilano in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Paulo Opilano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gonzalo Tebaldo, 1-4. Los Hornos made a substitution. Freddy Cristofor replaced David Fernado. In the 84th match minute, Los Hornos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Tanio to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Gonsalve in the 87th minute of play. Everardo Francho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Gonsalve's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Everardo Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Los Hornos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Chuan took the corner. A throw-in in the 95th minute of the game was made by Angel Raymond with Damian Valente as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Los Hornos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
