In the 5th minute of the match, Mateo Marino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gregorio Hulberto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 6th minute of the match Talleres got a corner. Anjullan AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ariel Burko ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mateo Marino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Anjullan AFC's Gregorio Hulberto did a great save. Talleres's Albino Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Caetano in the 10th minute of play. Albino Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Donzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Saverio Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Mateo Marino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Anjullan AFC made a substitution. Elias Cristos replaced Jose Artizar. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Francisco Odilon got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 37th minute, Saverio Rivas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gregorio Hulberto. The goal made the score 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Mateo Marino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Andres Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Nofre having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ariel Burko to make the kick off. Gregorio Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Marino in the 51st minute of play. Roman Donzel in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albino Nofre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Victor Fernado hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Ulises Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Nofre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Toro in the 74th minute. Anjullan AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
