Teo Atarrabi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Furtado went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rigoberto Urritz charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Urritz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rigoberto Urritz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match LA LUZ F.C. got a corner. Papillon AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Martxot ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aldo Furtado took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo Atarrabi. Teo Atarrabi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Teo Atarrabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Galo in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Aldo Furtado notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Papillon AC's Teo Atarrabi. Teo Atarrabi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Txeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Aldo Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA LUZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 32nd minute, Aldo Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Teo Atarrabi. Papillon AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. When Gerardo Frantzes fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA LUZ F.C.'s protests and gave Gerardo Frantzes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Gerardo Frantzes got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Aldo Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papillon AC's Teo Atarrabi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavio Galo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Atarrabi having to interfere. The Papillon AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LA LUZ F.C. were winning 0-5.

LA LUZ F.C.'s Leonel Emmanuel was substituted for Flavio Galo. With an all-out effort, LA LUZ F.C.'s Teo Atarrabi threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gualterio Quilo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aldo Furtado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Teo Atarrabi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Emmanuel in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Atarrabi saved Papillon AC from getting behind. When Emilio Refugio fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papillon AC's protests and gave Emilio Refugio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Refugio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Aldo Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Atarrabi was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Teo Atarrabi made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Aldo Furtado sent off a good shot on target. Aldo Furtados short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Teo Atarrabi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gerardo Frantzes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, LA LUZ F.C.'s Gualterio Quilo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Humberto Barrionuevo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Aldo Furtado took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Teo Atarrabi to make any attempt to save it. Gualterio Quilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gerardo Frantzes managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA LUZ F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Frantzes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Atarrabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Atarrabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Emmanuel in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Aldo Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA LUZ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LA LUZ F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
