The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Papato Tatengue:s goal. Godfredo Orlin struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Herminio Maiorga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papato Tatengue. In the 14th match minute, Papato Tatengue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Orlin to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Lawrence's late challenge caught a Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Lawrence helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godfredo Orlin during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Papato Tatengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Orlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Papato Tatengue's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Asur came free, but Domingo Johans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Godfredo Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Patricio Asur got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Papato Tatengue's Elvio Harri got a free kick in the 39th minute. Papato Tatengue's Godfredo Orlin got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Godfredo Orlin off the ground. Godfredo Orlin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Asur made a kick off. Domingo Johans made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Patricio Asur sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Robustiano Orlandus fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Papato Tatengue's Domingo Johans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Orlandus in the 87th minute of play. If Patricio Asur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Papato Tatengue support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
