Jaime Llorenc started the match with the kick off. Rolando Frascuelo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Los Irrompibles's Marcos Silbestre got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvestre Lidon in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Chayo saved Los Irrompibles from getting behind. Rigoberto Gartzea came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Irrompibles's Jaime Llorenc. But to his dismay, Jaime Llorenc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Edgard Pepillo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Los Irrompibles's Clemente Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Lidon in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Guaberto Pepillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Irrompibles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NeW York CitY CopS the free kick. A collision led to Los Irrompibles getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Guaberto Pepillo hit a great ball. If Jaime Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Los Irrompibles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Precioso to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Enrique Dimo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Los Irrompibles's Clemente Chayo didn't even have to move. 38 minutes into the match, NeW York CitY CopS's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Llorenc came free, but Rigoberto Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Marcos Silbestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Marcos Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Marcos Silbestre put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rigoberto Gartzea. Rigoberto Gartzea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Llorenc went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Silvestre Lidons short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Clemente Chayo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 67 minutes into the match, NeW York CitY CopS's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Llorenc came free, but Rigoberto Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Irrompibles made a substitution. Anibal Obano replaced Fidel Kusko. In the 70th minute, Eleuterio Petrigai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, NeW York CitY CopS's Eleuterio Petrigai got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Rigoberto Gartzea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Silbestre went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Rigoberto Gartzea came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Irrompibles's Jaime Llorenc. But to his dismay, Jaime Llorenc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The supporters of NeW York CitY CopS booed when Los Irrompibles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Silbestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. When NeW York CitY CopS's Silvestre Lidon in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Irrompibles's goalie prevented a goal. Rigoberto Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Silbestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Irrompibles's Jaime Llorenc managed to work through NeW York CitY CopS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jaime Llorenc dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Rigoberto Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Silbestre in the 92nd minute of the match. Marcos Silbestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Gartzea having to interfere. Rigoberto Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Llorenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
