Delmiro Herena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Ponciano in the 18th minute of play. Delmiro Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Ponciano in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Herena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Angelino Ponciano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Angua FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Angelino Ponciano took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Herena. In the 47th minute, Silverio Oalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Angua FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Ponciano to make the kick off. Natalio Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Afonso in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Silverio Oalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Oalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmiro Herena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silverio Oalo ran back to his position shaking his head. Delmiro Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Oalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Ponciano got free with Delmiro Herena in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute of the match, Angelino Ponciano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Delmiro Herena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Unión y Progreso Tandil getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Felipe Montes hit a great ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unión y Progreso Tandil's goalkeeper Delmiro Herena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amador Afonso hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Angelino Ponciano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 81st playminute. A collision led to Unión y Progreso Tandil getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Leonel Ugutz hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Angua FC's Angelino Ponciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmiro Herena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Angua FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Unión y Progreso Tandil throughout the match.
