Benigno Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Elija in the 13th minute of play. Inter Miami CF's Benigno Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Fernendo in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, German Fernendo made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Ascencio. Inter Miami CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Gogo Bixintxo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benigno Ascencio, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gogo Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alejandra's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Bixintxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Ascencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ulises Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Justo Madeo hit a great ball. Benigno Ascencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gogo Bixintxo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Benigno Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Fernendo in the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Elija in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Ascencio saved Inter Miami CF from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Benigno Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Elija in the 55th minute of play. Gogo Bixintxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Ascencio having to make a save. Benigno Ascencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natalio Elija's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 65 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Osoro. 73 minutes into the game, Natalio Elija cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benigno Ascencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 79 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Pagomari. Guillermo Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Montez having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Alejandra got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Quinito. Braulio Quinito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Benigno Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Montez made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ulises Benet sent off a good shot on target. Benigno Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
