When Cayetano Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Mudquin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Velasco couldn't finish the play. Eloy Perutxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Velasco's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Emiliano Giro took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Perutxo. Eloy Perutxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Rigoberto Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Perutxo having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 25th minute when Cayetano Velasco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Ponce in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Perutxo saved Barreal FC from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Cayetano Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Eloy Perutxo. Barreal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Igor Estefan charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Estefan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Rigoberto Ponce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Marcos Salvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barreal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mudquin FC the free kick. Marcos Salvino hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute Rigoberto Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Perutxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Salvino to make the kick off. Rigoberto Ponce kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 56thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Barreal FC's keeper Eloy Perutxo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Honorio Naelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eloy Perutxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Perutxo having to interfere. Barreal FC's Eloy Perutxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Velasco in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Mudquin FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Danilo Dimas hit a great ball. Epifanio Admon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Salvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Cayetano Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Perutxo having to interfere. Epifanio Admon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Salvino in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Barreal FC booed when Mudquin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Giro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Cayetano Velasco notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Barreal FC's Eloy Perutxo. Eloy Perutxo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute Cayetano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Perutxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Perutxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Velasco in the 91st minute of the match. Barreal FC's Eloy Perutxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Barreal FC from getting a goal against them. The Barreal FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mudquin FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
