When Ambrosio Taurino came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Deportivo Pergamino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Taurino couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Deportivo Pergamino getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Norberto Cucao hit a great ball. Prudencio Jurgi's late challenge caught a Fervent Stalkers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
