Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isaac Marcones kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Eusebio Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Baumar kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Victorio Gilesindo, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dionisio Mundo took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Raymon. Uriel Raymon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Danel got free with Gonzalo Bonano in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uriel Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Mundo in the 17th minute of the match. When Isaac Marcones came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Velez Sarsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Marcones couldn't finish the play. If Benicio Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Chesterfield's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Ermengol came free, but Gonzalo Bonano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Gonzalo Bonano managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Velez Sarsfield's Benicio Danel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Everardo Tiniebra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez Sarsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Tiniebra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Bonano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uriel Palban charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Palban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Uriel Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Dionisio Mundo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Velez Sarsfield's Uriel Raymon. Uriel Raymon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Ciriaco Igon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Raymon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 39 played minutes Chesterfield got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Igon. After 46 minutes of play, Chesterfield's Dionisio Mundo made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uriel Raymon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Chesterfield were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dionisio Mundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Velez Sarsfield's Uriel Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Tximitx in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Cristian Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Benicio Danel made a precise shot to the right of Gonzalo Bonano. Chesterfield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. In the 68th match minute, Velez Sarsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Flores to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Chesterfield's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Danel came free, but Gonzalo Bonano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Velez Sarsfield were furious when Melchor Birila was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Velez Sarsfield:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chesterfield:s goal. Leo Froylan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Uriel Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Velez Sarsfield supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chesterfield's performance. The match ended with a win for Chesterfield.
