After 10 played minutes Deportivo Pomelo Nenene got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Pello. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darwin Nuñez during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene booed when COSQUIN SFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darwin Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ruben Truylos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. If Ruben Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Truylos in the 44th minute of play. Gogo Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Benet having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Húmi Pomelin to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Pello, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Horacio Jakobe kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Cleto Indalecio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darwin Nuñez in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match COSQUIN SFC got a corner. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led to COSQUIN SFC's Eustacio Mitxaut getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 66 minutes into the match, COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Ricardo Benet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Truylos. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ovidio Sandalio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Gogo Pello got a free kick in the 75th minute. Cleto Indalecio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darwin Nuñez in the 80th minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Cleto Indalecio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Húmi Pomelin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
