With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Jakes in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Timo saved Club Atletico Rio Tercero from getting behind. Teofilo Timo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Jakes in the 18th minute of the match. A hard shot 21 in the game by Marco Indar from a close distance when the talented Teofilo Timo managed to make a qualified save. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's players were relieved. In the 23rd minute, La Acade's Ivan Jakes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 29th minute, Bernardino Hanni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Socorro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. La Acade's Nestor Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Hever in the 35th minute of play. After 40 played minutes La Acade got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Jakes. In the 44th minute, La Acade's Ivan Jakes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teofilo Timo. Teofilo Timo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1.

Teofilo Timo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Indar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 minutes, Lino Montay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Rio Tercero and the La Acade players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lino Montay hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Bernardino Hanni kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ivan Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Timo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Jakes in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Timo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When La Acade's Marco Indar in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leonides Odilon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Nestor Socorro made a huge save. If Marco Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Acade fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atletico Rio Tercero had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
