An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Leoncio in the 18th minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Ciro Eskuin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Eskuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Durazno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Sancho in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Niceto Cisco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loco Cabezon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Cisco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Eskuin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roque James went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute Rafael Leoncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 33 in the game by Roque James from a close distance when the talented Ciro Eskuin managed to make a qualified save. Loco Cabezon's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Domeka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciro Eskuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Segundo Domeka came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Loco Cabezon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Domeka couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Baldomiro Selmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the game, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Roque James nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
