The audience was convinced that Wasyl Bator's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszko Kisielka was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, Wasyl Bator ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbyszko Kisielka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, The Irons Chorzów's Barnaba Motyl got a free kick in the 20th minute. Tadeusz Trochowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Giertych having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, The Irons Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Sroki to maneuver through the defense. Gwidon Piesciuk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Juliusz Giertych skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. During the 27th minute of the match Wasyl Bator completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wasyl Bator a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to The Irons Chorzów getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Wasyl Bator hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Witold Rzeszutek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedykt Gardocki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszko Kisielka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Zbyszko Kisielka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Bialakowski in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of The Irons Chorzów booed when Spartan FC Mogilany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Piesciuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 56 played minutes Spartan FC Mogilany got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Giertych. Alfred Sroki hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gwidon Piesciuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Giertych having to interfere. Zbyszko Kisielka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Czysta in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Alfred Sroki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Irons Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartan FC Mogilany the free kick. The supporters of Spartan FC Mogilany booed when The Irons Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Sroki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juliusz Giertych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Trochowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in The Irons Chorzów's zone, Gwidon Piesciuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliusz Giertych came out of the goal and Gwidon Piesciuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gwidon Piesciuk struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Juliusz Giertych didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartan FC Mogilany. After 80 played minutes Spartan FC Mogilany got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Hodas. Juliusz Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Giertych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 88 minutes, Maksymilian Czysta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Irons Chorzów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maksymilian Czysta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Spartan FC Mogilany's goalkeeper Zbyszko Kisielka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grzegorz Bialakowski. A collision led to The Irons Chorzów getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Kazimierz Zagrodny hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Irons Chorzów eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
