The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Zachemski in the 3rd minute of play forced Fc Aroosos's goalkeeper Aureliusz Zembrzuski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Janusz Skikiewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Borys Pieknik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Borys Pieknik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Fudalej in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Aroosos's goalkeeper Aureliusz Zembrzuski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Janusz Skikiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Borys Pieknik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliusz Zembrzuski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Cuber in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Cuber in the 32nd minute of play forced Fc Aroosos's goalkeeper Aureliusz Zembrzuski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS LEW Chorzów were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Fc Aroosos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Witalis Gacek took the corner. The corner led KS LEW Chorzów's Daniel Winnicki to fire away a dangerous shot which Aureliusz Zembrzuski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Feliks Kiewra's late challenge caught a KS LEW Chorzów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliks Kiewra helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fc Aroosos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Feliks Kiewra hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Feliks Kiewra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Pieknik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Feliks Kiewra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Aroosos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliks Kiewra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Borys Pieknik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Fudalej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zdzislaw Fudalej to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Fudalej came free, but Borys Pieknik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes, Bernard Zachemski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS LEW Chorzów and the Fc Aroosos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Bernard Zachemski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Skikiewicz in the 63rd minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Borys Pieknik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Witalis Gacek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliusz Zembrzuski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Zachemski in the 71st minute of play. If Zenon Ciechocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borys Pieknik came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Aroosos's Janusz Skikiewicz. But to his dismay, Janusz Skikiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 83 played minutes Fc Aroosos got a freekick which was hit by Julian Szostak. When Bernard Zachemski came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the KS LEW Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Zachemski couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Roland Cerocki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Borys Pieknik was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Borys Pieknik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Fudalej, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Boleslaw Chmelyk hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Fc Aroosos's Julian Szostak broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fc Aroosos's Aureliusz Zembrzuski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Aroosos from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fc Aroosos fully deserved thier win.
