Despite this Lech Nakoneczny quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Russówek's Konrad Dudek in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bezek's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute, Boleslaw Pstrongowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lech Nakoneczny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bezek. Konrad Dudek scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miromir Gecionis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Konrad Dudek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Gecionis having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Bezek's Zbyszko Wolniewicz got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Russówek booed when Bezek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Siwy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ziemowit Czerniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Lech Nakoneczny made a huge save. During the 90th minute of the match Damian Buczko completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Damian Buczko a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Russówek booed when Bezek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Buczko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zdzislaw Mazierski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Nakoneczny having to interfere. Miromir Gecionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Turek, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Russówek were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
