After 6 played minutes Kiryat Gat got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Katzin. In the 7th minute Jori Delyon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omry Amzaleg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kiryat Gat booed when Magen David was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eri Yakhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Noy Raanan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiryat Gat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noy Raanan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Itamar Shiffman hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Noy Raanan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tom Darman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kiryat Gat's Zamir Kupperman got a free kick in the 20th minute. Kiryat Gat's Omry Amzaleg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jori Delyon in the 21st minute of play. Omry Amzaleg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zchariyhu Dafni in the 23rd minute of the match. Zchariyhu Dafni scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omry Amzaleg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Omry Amzaleg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yariv Beltzer in the 30th minute of the match. When Freddy Katzin fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiryat Gat's protests and gave Freddy Katzin a yellow card for diving instead. Omry Amzaleg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zchariyhu Dafni, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Omry Amzaleg came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Magen David's Zchariyhu Dafni. But to his dismay, Zchariyhu Dafni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 43rd minute, Abiyel Salinger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omry Amzaleg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noy Raanan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noy Raanan in the 55th minute of play forced Magen David's goalkeeper Tom Darman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jori Delyon took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omry Amzaleg. Omry Amzaleg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 60th minute, Eri Yakhin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magen David's Tom Darman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noy Raanan in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Magen David's Abiyel Salinger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Tom Darman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Tolkin in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Magen David's Ofir Erl got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Yariv Beltzer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Omry Amzaleg. Yariv Beltzer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 81 minutes into the game, Yariv Beltzer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Omry Amzaleg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Abiyel Salinger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magen David's supporters rose to their feet, but Abiyel Salinger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omry Amzaleg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 89 minutes of play, Magen David's Abiyel Salinger made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omry Amzaleg was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Noy Raanan in the 95th minute of play forced Magen David's goalkeeper Tom Darman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Magen David could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kiryat Gat throughout the match.
