In the 10th minute, Kimon Spiridakou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Tityos Dounias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionysos Danas. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tityos Dounias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alkeides Kouretas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Arkas Potamianos made a huge save. Arkas Potamianos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kimon Spiridakou in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koronis Panoulias got free with Arkas Potamianos in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th match minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkeides Kouretas to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Daidalos Giannopoulos came free, but Arkas Potamianos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Empire of Soccer defense, Koronis Panoulias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arkas Potamianos. The Empire of Soccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arkas Potamianos should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alkeides Kouretas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Akis Mousa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Phaiakes Kouches came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dionysos Danas could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Phaiakes Kouches kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dionysos Danas. That made the score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. In the 60th match minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kreon Koulaxizis to maneuver through the defense. Alkeides Kouretas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With 73 minutes on the clock, Alkestis Stasinopoulos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 72nd minute, one of ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ. After 82 played minutes Empire of Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Timos Econome. After having played for 87 minutes, Koronis Panoulias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koronis Panoulias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timos Econome made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Akis Mousa. Arkas Potamianos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkeides Kouretas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute of the match ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ got a corner. Empire of Soccer's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kolkhis Papadakos ran over to the corner to take the kick. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Kolkhis Papadakos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arkas Potamianos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 98th minute, Alkeides Kouretas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkas Potamianos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Chants of Empire of Soccer echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ had held the ball for most of the match.
