After some careless play in the FFC Merainies 03 defense, Tomas Hof kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taco Joppets. The FFC Merainies 03 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taco Joppets should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Rolf Mulders sped through Winthont FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacob Hauvers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Neijsen in the 9th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Taco Joppets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taco Joppets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giel Zeegelaar in the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerjan de Visser got free with Jacob Hauvers in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Ab Hoogenkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Neijsen in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taco Joppets saved FFC Merainies 03 from getting behind. Giel Zeegelaar kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FFC Merainies 03's Twan Tieleman got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Jacob Adams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacob Hauvers acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Niek Witting. Taco Joppets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Neijsen in the 29th minute of the match. Leon Derksen hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Rolf Mulders could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jacob Hauvers made a huge save. Taco Joppets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eelco Neijsen in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Ab Hoogenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Hauvers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacob Hauvers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolf Mulders showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Neijsen to make the kick off. Taco Joppets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Hof in the 51st minute of the match. A hard shot by Floris Talsma from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Taco Joppets's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jurjen Kors kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Rolf Mulders ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacob Hauvers was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Eelco Neijsen struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Taco Joppets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winthont FC. In the 63rd minute Eelco Neijsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Joppets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Hof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Gerjan de Visser. Taco Joppets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Neijsen in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Neijsen in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taco Joppets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerjan de Visser came free, but Jacob Hauvers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jurjen Kors hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Jacob Adams was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winthont FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FFC Merainies 03 the free kick. Jacob Adams hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Taco Joppets came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Winthont FC's Kurt Neijsen. But to his dismay, Kurt Neijsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When Winthont FC's Eelco Neijsen in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FFC Merainies 03's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Adams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathijs de Vries hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jacob Hauvers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerjan de Visser in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Tomas Hof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Joppets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Winthont FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FFC Merainies 03.
