Natã Valladares came out and tried to block the shot, but Waldir Matorin slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. When Waldir Matorin in the 13th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Natã Valladares kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Adalberto Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Massa in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to O MOTIVO ⚽ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cássio Furtado hit a great ball. Alberto Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Adalberto Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Massa in the 31st minute of play. Waldir Matorin took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natã Valladares. Natã Valladares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 36th match minute, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Natã Valladares made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Dida Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. Waldir Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir Matorin struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Natã Valladares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for O MOTIVO ⚽. Adalberto Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Adalberto Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Veiga in the 46th minute of play. Adalberto Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Claudinho Fontes. But to his dismay, Claudinho Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The wind increased when Waldir Matorin made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Alfredinho Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of O MOTIVO ⚽ booed when CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natã Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Tinoco in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Fontes in the 79th minute of play forced O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Adalberto Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Christiano Veiga made a precise shot to the right of Adalberto Figueiredo. O MOTIVO ⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. After a defensive mix-up in CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's zone, Waldir Matorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natã Valladares came out of the goal and Waldir Matorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalberto Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Claudinho Fontes sent off a good shot on target. O MOTIVO ⚽ were furious when Dida Guimarães was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Dida Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Adalberto Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Massa in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Adalberto Figueiredo got control of the ball when Edu Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
