Donato Montenegro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hélder Pinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Donato Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Godoi in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Mazinho Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. LRCA Office Club's Donato Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save LRCA Office Club from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as A A Arizona's Chicão Freire slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Donato Montenegro. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the game, Hélder Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A A Arizona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LRCA Office Club the free kick. After 22 played minutes A A Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Pinho. Mauro Carioca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Siqueira having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Mazinho Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Donato Montenegro. LRCA Office Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, LRCA Office Club's Bebeto Vianna got a free kick in the 28th minute. LRCA Office Club's Donato Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save LRCA Office Club from getting a goal against them. Donato Montenegro was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Mazinho Godoi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mazinho Godoi really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Mazinho Godoi in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donato Montenegro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 40 played minutes A A Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Sanches. LRCA Office Club's Donato Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save LRCA Office Club from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bebeto Vianna made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Bebeto Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Siqueira was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Bebeto Vianna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bebeto Vianna really showed his touch with that goal: 7-1. Donato Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Godoi in the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Vianna came free, but Rodolfo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mauro Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the LRCA Office Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Carioca couldn't finish the play. Júlio Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Rodolfo Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mazinho Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Montenegro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mazinho Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Godoi in the 83rd minute of play forced LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Donato Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's Hélder Pinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the A A Arizona players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
