Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Lúcio Mota started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dudu Sanches hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Amadeu Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, WAU team's Felippe de Sena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Ernesto Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Sanches in the 33rd minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Ramón Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to WAU team getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Horácio Abreu hit a great ball. Ramón Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lúcio Mota went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Amadeu Maranhense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dênis Tande in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Felippe de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Nascimento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amadeu Maranhense came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgard Nascimento slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinei de Alcântara to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Reis to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Dudu Sanches tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Amadeu Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa de Barros in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, WAU team's Kiko Capixaba seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kiko Capixaba the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of WAU team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kiko Capixaba had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 56th minute, one of WAU team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for WAU team. Ramón Neves had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Dudu Sanches's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Dudu Sanches notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of WAU team's Ramón Neves. Ramón Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. WAU team's Ramón Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save WAU team from getting a goal against them. Lúcio Mota received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramón Neves came out and tried to block the shot, but Lúcio Mota slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 67th minute. After 72 played minutes Nildo Mazza rounded WAU team's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-4. The supporters of AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ booed when WAU team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramón Neves came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Amadeu Bertassi. But to his dismay, Amadeu Bertassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. If Dênis Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
