Penalty! 70 minutes into the match, Excelência de Luxe's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Mineiro came free, but Luizão Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizão Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Mineiro in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Excelência de Luxe's Germano Miranda got a free kick in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Excelência de Luxe's zone, João Augusto Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizão Vidal came out of the goal and João Augusto Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
