The crowd rose to their feet as Kaká Nogueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernesto Penha. That made the score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. Luís Eduardo Vidal hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Bigode Grosso's goalkeeper Ernesto Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Tepedino. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Marquinhos Luz suffered a concussion in the 17th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE made a substitution. Alan Paraíba replaced Marquinhos Luz. Jonathan Nunes's late challenge caught a E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. Bigode Grosso's Ernesto Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Bigode Grosso from getting a goal against them. José Pedro Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Fantini in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Kaká Nogueira got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís Fantini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. José Pedro Donatello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Velloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ernesto Penha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Velloso in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Adriano Tepedino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The wind increased when Adriano Tepedino made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Remo Garcia hit a great ball. Luís Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Carlos Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bigode Grosso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Paraíba in the 57th minute of play forced Bigode Grosso's goalkeeper Ernesto Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandrinho Velloso's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Ernesto Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Paraíba in the 65th minute of play. Ernesto Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Adriano Tepedino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ernesto Penha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marquinhos França charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bigode Grosso booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Adriano Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Luís Fantini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Pedro Donatello came out and tried to block the shot, but Sílvio Luís Fantini slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 80th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bigode Grosso's Pedro Augusto Paiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Pedro Donatello. That made the score 5-3 after 84 minutes of play. Sandrinho Velloso took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Penha. Ernesto Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. After 91 played minutes Bigode Grosso got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino de Lima. Ernesto Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Nogueira in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE were the better team. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
