The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Bene Animatus's zone, Wilton Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Tavares came out of the goal and Wilton Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wilton Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Flamengo CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilton Fantini couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's Wilton Fantini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Bene Animatus got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Reis. Sebastião Reis's late challenge caught a Flamengo CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Reis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bene Animatus booed when Flamengo CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robinho Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Aparecido in the 18th minute of the match. Flamengo CIMZ's Robinho Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Bertassi in the 20th minute of play. Robinho Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Iuri Vargas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Flamengo CIMZ defense, Marcus Aparecido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robinho Silveira. The Flamengo CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robinho Silveira should have stopped the shot. When Wilton Fantini was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. A collision led to Bene Animatus getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Emílio Eger hit a great ball. Henrique Tavares made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Frédson Couto sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bene Animatus booed when Flamengo CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bene Animatus's Marcus Aparecido got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manoel Breckenfeld made a kick off. Robinho Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauan Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Cauan Bertassi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Robinho Silveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Wilton Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Aparecido in the 61st minute of play forced Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Robinho Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Marcus Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bene Animatus were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Flamengo CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Natã Abreu took the corner. The corner led Bene Animatus's Natã Abreu to fire away a dangerous shot which Robinho Silveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cauan Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Robinho Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Bene Animatus's Cauan Bertassi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robinho Silveira. That made the score 0-2 after 68 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cauan Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bene Animatus's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauan Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robinho Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Bene Animatus's Marcus Aparecido dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Emílio Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute of the match, Marcus Aparecido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robinho Silveira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Flamengo CIMZ's Vivaldo Messias got a free kick in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Manoel Breckenfeld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Tavares was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Manoel Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute.
