SALIMEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergamim F.C. the free kick. A collision led to SALIMEN getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Nestor Alvarenga hit a great ball. In the 4thth minute of the game Rodolfo Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SALIMEN's Noel Breckenfeld was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christiano Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Alvarenga in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Dadá Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breno Leão took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Breckenfeld. Noel Breckenfeld dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fernandão Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Rodolfo Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalberto Vander during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adalberto Vander hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Nogueira in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With his leg Christiano Dracena managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when SALIMEN's Luiz Fábio Netto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Bergamim F.C.'s Juvenal de Moraes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Nogueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noel Breckenfeld yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Rodolfo Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Breno Leão fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bergamim F.C.'s protests and gave Breno Leão a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bergamim F.C.'s Breno Leão got a free kick in the 73rd minute.
