Feminista MZC's Caetano Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Madureira in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Bittencourt during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Délio Maciel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cléber Lopes. That made the score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reginaldo Barral was the one to do the kick off. Cléber Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Velasco in the 56th minute of the match. Cléber Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paes in the 65th minute of play. Pedro Paes might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cléber Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Paes ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juarês Branco got free with Caetano Pirani in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th match minute, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Cléber Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Feminista MZC booed when PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedro Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Feminista MZC fully deserved thier win.
