After 2 played minutes LOBO 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Renan Lago. LOBO 1908's Belmiro Quintal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for INTER FC. When Benê Simão fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER FC's protests and gave Benê Simão a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LOBO 1908 booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Araújo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 11th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Rafael Dallris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benê Simão in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Oscar Arce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Dallris. LOBO 1908's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Arce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 37th match minute, LOBO 1908 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Samuca de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. The referee ignored INTER FC's protests and gave Luisinho Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nico Araújo to strike the kick off in the second half. Rafael Dallris made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Oscar Arce sent off a good shot on target. Benê Simão hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Belmiro Quintal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOBO 1908's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER FC the free kick. LOBO 1908's Rafael Dallris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Arce in the 60th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Jaime de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71stth minute of the game Nico Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTER FC's Angelo Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Benê Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LOBO 1908's Nico Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Tiago de Azevedo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Angelo Cerezo came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by LOBO 1908's Nico Araújo. But to his dismay, Nico Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 90th match minute, LOBO 1908 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense.
