The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, one of Atletico Aragua FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 8 minutes into the game, 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's Monkiewicz Gay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Froylan Chagavia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Jaunzuria Azpeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Gay in the 14th minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Froylan Chagavia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletico Aragua FC's Froylan Chagavia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Gay in the 16th minute of play. Froylan Chagavia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Luzea Pedrero's late challenge caught a Atletico Aragua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luzea Pedrero helped the player get up and apologised. Froylan Chagavia came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's Abel Gay. But to his dismay, Abel Gay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 31 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Silveira. Monkiewicz Gay took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Froylan Chagavia. Froylan Chagavia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Abel Gay had several of the Atletico Aragua FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Froylan Chagavia as he didn't even see the shot coming. Froylan Chagavia made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Monkiewicz Gay sent off a good shot on target. Berbiz Iruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otsoko Queipo in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otsoko Queipo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Xaver Teresa got a free kick in the 54th minute. 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's Bela Gayoso was substituted for Jaunzuria Azpeitia. Froylan Chagavia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Gay in the 59th minute of play. Abel Gay kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Lauren Traspuesto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Aragua FC the free kick. Lauren Traspuesto kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Froylan Chagavia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Hugo Gay in the 65th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Victor Hugo Gay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Froylan Chagavia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 81 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Veto Traslago. Froylan Chagavia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Figueruela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletico Aragua FC's Froylan Chagavia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urko Fortuño in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Freddy Figueruela managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Figueruela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froylan Chagavia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
