The Carloforte f.c. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Filippo Punta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Borel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Beppe Riva hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Cesare Cinalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Vinci having to interfere. Antonio Vinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Cinalli in the 30th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Corrado Federici lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Filippo Punta. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corrado Federici to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corrado Federici in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filippo Punta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesare Cinalli got free with Antonio Vinci in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Cesare Cinalli hit a great ball. Filippo Punta came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Seggiano's Corrado Federici. But to his dismay, Corrado Federici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Filippo Punta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Elia Borel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Corrado Federici took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filippo Punta. Filippo Punta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 77 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Federici came free, but Filippo Punta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Emiliano Buccella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Elia Borel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Punta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Riva to maneuver through the defense. If Corrado Federici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filippo Punta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corrado Federici's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Corrado Federici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Filippo Punta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Seggiano had played much better football throughout.
