Godfredo Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Txema, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Dante Txema who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torpedos AFC's Godfredo Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ORIZABA F.C.'s Uriel Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Ciano in the 13th minute of play. Godfredo Frichoso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Bruno Ciano hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Txema in the 19th minute of play forced Torpedos AFC's goalkeeper Godfredo Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Torpedos AFC booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Jorrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Txema did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Godfredo Frichoso 34 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Terciero in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Frichoso saved Torpedos AFC from getting behind. Godfredo Frichoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Txema in the 42nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as ORIZABA F.C.'s Benjamin Terciero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Godfredo Frichoso. That made the score 3-1 after 43 minutes of play. Carolo Regis charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carolo Regis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carolo Regis made a kick off. Torpedos AFC's Godfredo Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Erasto in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Braulio Erasto got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Txema in the 59th minute of play forced Torpedos AFC's goalkeeper Godfredo Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Torpedos AFC's zone, Dante Txema stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Frichoso came out of the goal and Dante Txema tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Terciero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godfredo Frichoso having to make a save. Godfredo Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Terciero in the 67th minute of the match. Cesar Lop took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Frichoso. Godfredo Frichoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Dante Txema might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godfredo Frichoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Txema ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Txema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Godfredo Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torpedos AFC's Godfredo Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Lop in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, ORIZABA F.C.'s Dante Txema nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godfredo Frichoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Godfredo Frichoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Txema's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Braulio Erasto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Frichoso came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by ORIZABA F.C.'s Cesar Lop. But to his dismay, Cesar Lop quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Fidel Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. ORIZABA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Jorrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the ORIZABA F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
