In the 8th minute Isaac Tineo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arboleda Pineros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arboleda Pineros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Tineo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Buenos Muchachos were awarded a corner. Isaac Tineo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Isaac Tineo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Arboleda Pineros did a great save. After a rather tough play, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Flavio Entero got a free kick in the 21st minute. The long shot by Isaac Tineo in the 22nd minute really tested Arboleda Pineros's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Xines Ludueña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenos Muchachos's Roberto Bullan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Buenos Muchachos booed when Real Guayaquil.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dannes Asuaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match De-la-Cruz Hesa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arboleda Pineros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Buenos Muchachos's goal looked a bit too open when Xines Ludueña came free, but Roberto Bullan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Flavio Entero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Buenos Muchachos's Roberto Bullan. Roberto Bullan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xines Ludueña scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Bullan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Buenos Muchachos's Zunbeltz Olabe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arboleda Pineros. That made the score 1-2 after 40 minutes of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xines Ludueña made a kick off. Xines Ludueña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Carlos-Alberto Caraveo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Arboleda Pineros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zunbeltz Olabe in the 56th minute of play. De-la-Cruz Hesa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Roberto Bullan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomas Alceda. 70 minutes into the match, Buenos Muchachos's Isaac Tineo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arboleda Pineros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 72 in the game by Xines Ludueña from a close distance when the talented Roberto Bullan managed to make a qualified save. Buenos Muchachos's players were relieved. Roberto Bullan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xines Ludueña went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Buenos Muchachos's Mora Garza suffered a sore thigh after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Xayvion Anguiano's late challenge caught a Buenos Muchachos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xayvion Anguiano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Buenos Muchachos booed when Real Guayaquil.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xayvion Anguiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arboleda Pineros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zunbeltz Olabe in the 80th minute of the match. If Carlos-Alberto Caraveo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Xines Ludueña made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Bullan. Buenos Muchachos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xines Ludueña got free with Roberto Bullan in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Xines Ludueña dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6.
