Daniel Palomar's late challenge caught a Carqueja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Palomar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Daniel Palomar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Pagomari Ason cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Pau Aza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carqueja's Paulo Leyva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Gante in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Gante in the 27th minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Paulo Leyva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Hitz Erus sped through Atletico Maturrango's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pau Aza. In the 37thth minute of the game Pinto Caniego who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Maturrango's Pau Aza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Carqueja's Fagildo Cases in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Maturrango's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Leyva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haitz Peruyera went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hitz Erus was the one to do the kick off. Romeo Arrieta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carqueja's Paulo Leyva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Carqueja from getting a goal against them. Fagildo Cases scored 4-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pau Aza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 played minutes Carqueja got a freekick which was hit by Pinto Caniego. Pau Aza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pagomari Ason, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Sedeni Ampudia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Pagomari Ason ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pau Aza was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. With 79 minutes on the clock, Juango Reynoso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dayam Creus in the 81st minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Pau Aza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carqueja were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atletico Maturrango for a fine match.
