The audience was convinced that Montrell Escobar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Araso was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. A collision led to Austral FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Igor Messia hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, MetalGarurumon F.C's Uzuri Garviras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Araso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hipolito Araso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Montrell Escobar in the 34th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Osmundo Llago notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Austral FC's Hipolito Araso. Hipolito Araso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Montrell Escobar was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Austral FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Messia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdiano Elicegui in the 60th minute of play forced MetalGarurumon F.C's goalkeeper Xavian Portas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Araso made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Montrell Escobar sent off a good shot on target. After 74 played minutes Austral FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Armendariz. After a defensive mix-up in Austral FC's zone, Montrell Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Araso came out of the goal and Montrell Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Erdiano Elicegui fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austral FC's protests and gave Erdiano Elicegui a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MetalGarurumon F.C booed when Austral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdiano Elicegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pasqual Omente kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Xavian Portas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdiano Elicegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Erdiano Elicegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavian Portas having to interfere. Hipolito Araso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmundo Llago in the 92nd minute of play.
