I.A.S.A's Rojelio Lario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save I.A.S.A from getting a goal against them. Edgardo Partearroyo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Buceo's Inautzi Antoñano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rojelio Lario. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54thth minute of the game Inautzi Antoñano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but I.A.S.A's Rojelio Lario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, Fidencio Ruano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nardo Tuo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Frasco Nieva kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Nardo Tuo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rojelio Lario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nardo Tuo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Mambru Martiniana put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in I.A.S.A fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sporting Buceo a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nardo Tuo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of I.A.S.A's Rojelio Lario. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as I.A.S.A's Pirmin Merayo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guillen Ubiña. That made the score 2-1 after 90 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blai Zarandona during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of I.A.S.A booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blai Zarandona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Cepa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sporting Buceo fans cheered their team off the field, for while I.A.S.A had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
